Elaine Weaver
Elaine Weaver
Practice Principal - GDC No: 71098

Elaine qualified from the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel in 1995 and in 2006, she completed a post-graduate course in Orthodontics (BUOLD, Bristol University).


Elaine joined King Street Dental Practice in 1999, became a co-owner in 2002, and sole owner in 2013. She also provides orthodontic treatment at Basingstoke Hospital as a Clinical Assistant, working with and on behalf of the consultant orthodontists.

Elaine enjoys all aspects of General Dental Practice and cares a great deal about her patients. She strives to build and maintain a happy, relaxed, and communicative relationship with her patients, especially with those who are particularly anxious with dental treatment.

In order to keep up to date with advancements within the dental profession, Elaine attends numerous post-graduate courses, often exceeding the General Dental Council minimum requirements for  Continued Professional Development.

Alison Spencer Lane

Associate Dentist - GDC No: 57354

Alison qualified at London’s King College Dental School in 1982 and then spent a year working in the Oral Surgery department at Kings College Hospital.


Alison has been part of the team in King Street since 2003, where she enjoys providing family dental care in this friendly environment.

She stays aware of changes in dentistry by attending numerous lecture and training days.

Li Soong
Associate Dentist - GDC No: 250850

Li qualified in 2013 at Liverpool University (BDS). She also has a BSc in Pharmacology from University College London and an MSc in Immunopharmacology from Glasgow.


Li is interested in all areas of dentistry, but particularly minimally invasive restorative dentistry, as she strongly feels that teeth and bone should be preserved as much as possible.

She likes to keep up to date with restorative techniques and is currently completing the Cosmetic Dentistry & Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry course run by Christopher Orr in London – the number one in Europe for running courses in Aesthetic Dentistry.

Mehrdad Sehat

Mehrdad Sehat qualified from Leeds School of Dentistry in 2001 and went straight into general practice as the wide variety of care involved interested him greatly.


Having worked in both NHS and private practices, Mehrdad joined the King Street team in 2012 and thoroughly enjoys his time here as a member of the team. He strongly feels that the patient care we provide is second to none.

He has experience of working with patients of all ages and requirements and has particular interests in Restorative Dentistry and treating our younger patients.

Nick Butcher

Nick is a Newcastle upon Tyne graduate with experience in treating high-needs patients. He is also currently completing a post-grad diploma in primary dental care.


In addition to the current post-graduate diploma, which focuses on minor oral surgery, root canal treatment and removable prosthodontics, Nick also plans to undertake a second post graduate diploma – in implantology with Eastmans university in London, as this is the centre of his interests for the future. To assist in this he is undertaking large amount of work experience with consultants in oral surgery.

Daniel Dascalescu - King Street Dental Practice, Odiham

Daniel originally qualified in Romania and since registering with the GDC, he has also completed various courses in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.


Whilst in Romania, Daniel worked for two and a half years at the local dental hospital and it was during this time that he studied for an passed the International Qualification Examination (London) and registered with the general Dental Council.

Since 2006, he has been working in the UK, continuously adding to his experience in diagnosing and treating tooth and gum problems – along with looking for tooth-saving ways to improve his patients’ dental appearance.

Daniel enjoys bringing back teeth to their former glory and improving their appearance with the use of whitening, tooth-coloured restorations and short-term orthodontic treatments. He has a patient nature and is especially good with children and nervous adults.

Mairéad Hayes
Orthodontics - GDC No: 80767

Originally from Ireland, Mairéad qualified in 2002 and has a wealth of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontology, oral medicine and paediatric dentistry.


Mairéad conduct her Specialist Orthodontic training at the Royal London Hospital and Essex County Hospital in Colchester.  During her training, Mairéad completed her thesis and obtained a Masters in Orthodontics, in addition to her membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. She is also a member of the British Orthodontic Society and former secretary of the postgraduate orthodontic training group. Mairéad has been involved in the teaching and training of Orthodontic Specialists in the London teaching hospitals and has presented at national and international conferences.

Having undertaken her consultant training at Oxford and the Eastman Dental Hospital, London, Mairéad qualified as a consultant in Orthodontics in March 2012. She took up her current orthodontic consultant post at The Hampshire hospitals NHSFT in December 2012.

Mairéad has been working at King Street since April 2014, where she provides a variety of orthodontic options for children and adult patients, including metal and aesthetic ceramic systems. Mairéad is also an Invisalign provider.

Jacob D'Souza - King Street Dental Practice, Odiham
Jacob d'Souza
Oral Surgeon - GDC No: 207514

Jacob is the latest to join our specialist team and undertook his Oral and Maxillofacial training in the UK and his Head and Neck Fellowship in Sydney.


Jacob has publications in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in training of under-graduate students.

He regularly participates in national and international conferences to keep-up-to-date in the practice of evidence based medicine.

Fawad Amin
Endodontics - GDC No: 220240

Having graduated from Bristol University, Fawad undertook additional training roles in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, where he developed an interest in endodontics (root canal treatment).


Since gaining his Masters in Endodontics from the Eastman Dental Hospital, Fawad is an active member of the British Endodontic Society, the European Society of Endodontology and the American Association of Endodontics.

As well as King Street, Fawad works in multiple practices in and around Hampshire, where he has limited his work to endodontics and treats cases referred to him – we accept external referrals from other dental practices for his skills and expertise.

Jenny Knight
Dental Hygienist - GDC No: 1976

Jenny, who first qualified in 1980, has been a dental hygienist here at King Street Dental Practice for 15 years and works in a multitude of ways – with different equipment and various instruments.

Nicola Bailey
Dental Hygienist - GDC No: 4199

Yorkshire-born Nicola qualified as a dental hygienist from Sheffield (Charles Clifford) Dental Hospital in 1991 and is also qualified to administer local anaesthetics. She has worked here since 1997.

Karen Lee
Dental Hygienist - GDC No: 3660

Karen qualified in 1989 at Cardiff University Hospital and has been here for over 10 years, where she takes pride in developing a working relationship with patients and putting nervous patients at ease.

Lyndsey Barnes
Dental Nurse - GDC No: 153549

Lyndsey qualified as a dental nurse in 2005 and has been here for the last 13 years. During this time she has also qualified as a radiologist and assisted in dental surgery.

Jess joined King Street in May 2017 as a trainee dental nurse. In July of the same year, she qualified and plans to study dental hygiene and therapy at university.

Vicki has enjoyed being a dental nurse for the last 15 years and has a very keen interest in orthodontics and finds the end results most rewarding.

Debbie has been a dental nurse for 10 years and qualified in 2008. She likes to look after nervous patients, helping them to feel at ease during their treatment.

Leigh has been nursing for over 20 years and has been part of the King Street team for 12 years. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and especially helping patients maintain their smiles.

Ali has been a qualified dental nurse for many years and joined King Street in 2016. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and works alongside dentists and specialists, with her passion for promoting oral health.

Angela qualified as a dental nurse in 2002 and was with a practice in the north east until moving to Hampshire in 2015. She has a vast knowledge of the policies and procedures within NHS & Private dentistry.

Bev Barnes
Practice Co-Ordinator

Bev has been one of our receptionists for around 25 years, and is now one of our Practice Co-Ordinators. Having attended various courses, she helps ensure the practice runs smoothly.

Mandy Lancashire
Practice Co-Ordinator

Mandy has been part of the King Street team since 2002 as both a receptionist and now a Practice Co-Ordinator. As such, she deals with the day-to-day running of the practice.

Sue Walker
Practice Co-Ordinator

Susan has been here for over 17 years and is also one of our Practice Co-Ordinators. Susan also works on our compliance with the various Care Quality Commission policies.

Linda Wollam

Linda joined the practice in 2012 as a part-time receptionist after a long career in the NHS & Civil Service. She is here 2 days a week, commuting from Kew, where she now lives.

Linda Wilkinson

Linda retired 5 years ago after a long career in the commercial sector and now works part time as a receptionist, where she enjoys meeting all the patients.
